The focus of this interdisciplinary art space is a celebration of Maine's storied and out-sized place in American Art History, with a mission of promoting contemporary Maine art, contributing to the Maine arts economy, and engaging meaningfully in the vibrant and growing East Bayside community.

Private rental of the 8,000 square foot space are available for meetings, workshops, fundraisers, and social events including weddings.

Located in the eclectic East Bayside neighborhood, Maine Studio Works is a nearly 8,000 square foot space available for photo and video shoots, as well as private events.

This raw, industrial space features two operational kitchens, outdoor space, and easy load-in/out access. Perfect for the couple who loves a blank canvas to make their own, or an organization looking for maximum space to host their next fundraiser or corporate gathering.

Mechanics’ Hall

Mechanics’ Hall was founded in 1815 by the Maine Charitable Mechanic Association to support Maine’s creative community: blacksmiths, coopers, artists, innovators, and creators. Mechanics’ Hall is committed to the innovative vision of their founders: to make knowledge, ideas, and arts accessible.

Private rentals are available and there are several space options to meet the needs of events ranging from a board meeting to a wedding reception.

With three unique spaces available, the venues at Thompson’s Point offer endless possibilities for your next event. Each space features exposed steel beams, warm brick accents and large, open air spaces for up to 2,000 guests.
